DENVER (KDVR) — The post-COVID Colorado household profile is one with recent arrivals of high-paying jobs and deep pockets, according to the most recent U.S. Census Bureau data. The 10 most expensive homes in Denver Colorado was one of the nation's most moved-to states through the 2010s, and as of 2021, it was one of the states with the highest share of recent non-local residents, according to the American Community Survey. Among U.S. states, it has the highest share of occupied housing units that were moved into in 2019 or later. It had the sixth-highest share of people who lived in a different state in the past year. (The Hill) -- The first ever over-the-counter version of the opioid overdose reversal drug naloxone was approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on Wednesday, a move that could dramatically increase access to the lifesaving medication.The FDA approved Narcan, the brand name version of the drug manufactured by Emergent BioSolutions.Naloxone is a medicine that can help reduce opioid overdose deaths and when administered timely, usually within minutes of the first signs of an overdose, can counter the effects. American IQs rose 30 points in the last century. Now, they may be falling. According to the FDA, prescription Narcan is currently the most commonly sold emergency treatment for opioid overdose in U.S. pharmacies. It was first approved in 2015 to treat known or suspected opioid overdoses for people of all ages, including newborns. Miami-Dade Police officers are investigating a neighborhood in Northwest Miami-Dade after a man was shot on Wednesday morning. Reports of shots fired were called in around 6 a.m. and now police officers are investigating a house on Northwest 44th Street near Northwest 22nd Avenue.Just after 6 a.m., Miami-Dade Fire Rescue transported a man to Jackson Memorial Hospital where he was listed in stable condition.Authorities blocked off the street while they searched a car that was parked near the home they investigated. Evidence markers were seen next to the vehicle, which normally indicates some kind of shooting.Neighbors expressed concern and said the car belongs to an older man who lives in the house under investigation. They do not know if he is connected to this incident. (WSVN) – A boy battling terminal brain and spine cancer for half of his life accomplished another milestone Monday, when he was sworn in by Aurora Police Department.Officer Devarjaye Daniel, 11, repeated the oath word for word as he held his right hand up. His ultimate goal is to be sworn in by 758 agencies across the country and according to his family, he is close to reaching that goal.His father, Theodis Daniel, was present as his son promised to protect and serve others. The two have been on the road raising awareness about children battling cancer while meeting with law enforcement agencies.Daniel said the reason he choose the number 758 is in honor of his friend Abigail Arias, who lost her cancer battle in 2019. A bicyclist is dead following a hit-and-run crash in Lynn Wednesday morning, according to police.The incident happened on Route 107 northbound between Ida and Cooper Streets. One person is still missing Wednesday morning in connection with a fire at a rooming house in New Bedford that killed one person, hurt several others, and displaced more than two dozen people, according to local officials. Firefighters were called to the scene around 3 p.m. and remained on scene overnight, pouring water on the four-story structure on the corner of Tallman Street and Acushnet Avenue. Officials announced earlier Tuesday afternoon that at least one person had died. Five other people were taken to the hospital, with three in serious condition. Officials later said the person who died was an adult male.
